Thing #1
I want to learn how to effectively use and communicate proper use of blogging. Since students seem to be fascinated by using My Space, I want to set up an account and see what it is all about. I need to push myself out of my chosen ruts and learn to creatively use emerging technology that will impact the effectiveness of the Poteet library.

we will definitely be looking at myspace later in this program.
Our Pirates Read group were excited at the thought of blogging the current book we were reading, but they were only interested in My Space, not the Edublogs one that I have already set up for our use. And, my grandchildren are talking about My Space as well. I could really impress them by being a part of it, and it's really nice when I can impress them.
